ROHM expands its global quality assurance network by opening a new center in Detroit,
Michigan to serve the automotive sector

ROHM has established a new Quality Assurance Center in Detroit, Michigan in order to foster quality assurance to the automotive electronic industry capital while strengthening its presence in the automotive sector.

ROHM's overall goal is to provide an initial response within 24 hours of contact across the globe regarding product qualification and reliability data, test data, failure mode information, part composition, and quality-related certification. The company's philosophy is to provide a swift response with accurate feedback in order to enhance its customer service on an international scale. In order to achieve this, ROHM has Quality Assurance Centers located in Kyoto, Yokohama, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Shanghai as well as its newest US location in Detroit, Michigan. These facilities are equipped with professional analysis equipment in order to provide meticulous technical support at a local level. These centers are all networked to ROHM's development and manufacturing divisions worldwide.

In addition to the digital audio-visual and telecommunications sectors, ROHM is focusing on the automotive electronics market as a target for future growth. To implement this strategy, the company has expanded its product lineup and continues to enhance its customer support. The new QA Center in Detroit is expected to improve sales figures in the automotive electronics market.
