此IC是50V高耐压的面向车载的电压追踪器。输出电流500mA但是消耗电流控制在45μA(Typ.)，适用于直接连接电池的系统的低消耗电流化。偏置电压是±15mv(输出5V,6V<VCC<36V,5mA<Io<200mA)，万一短路时，采用了抑制发热的フ字型过电流保护电路，即使在严峻的条件下也能实现汽车电源电路的高可靠性。
