背景
近年来,越来越多的应用产品需要具备电流检测功能。例如,要想改善电机效率和实现异常检测等目标,就需要提高电流检测精度。另外,还需要减少安装面积。在以往结构(运算放大器+分立器件)中,存在元器件精度波动和温度特性导致电流检测精度下降、很难缩小安装面积等问题。为了解决这些问题,ROHM利用长年积累的模拟技术优势,开发出更节省空间且能高精度检测电流的产品“BD1421x-LA系列”。
概要
“BD14210G-LA”集成外围电路,连接分流电阻器即可进行电流检测。与以往结构(运算放大器+分立器件)相比,将元器件数量从11个减少至3个,安装面积减少约 46%(封装:SSOP6),更节省空间。另外,还在整个温度范围(-40℃~+125℃)实现了±1%的高精度电流检测。不仅如此,通过改进内部电路,即使在外部安装了噪声对策用的RC滤波电路的情况下,电流检测精度也不会受到影响,从而有助于减少设计工时。支持的输入电压范围也很宽(-0.2V~+26.0V),非常适用于12V和24V电源应用的电流检测用途。
